About the Speaker: Deborah Gage, President & CEO, Medecision

Deborah Gage is a proven business transformer. She has built her career as an entrepreneur founding and leading technology Companies to the next stage of growth. Deb joined the Medecision team after observing the investments the company had made to expand its broad platform of applications, the breadth and depth of the company's talent, and its sizeable, growing and increasingly diverse customer base—she knew Medecision could be a major player in the transformation of healthcare. Deb oversees our mission to transform healthcare one big app at a time, while directing the company's continued growth and innovation. She is responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, including continued platform development, solution deployment and operational effectiveness.

Deb lands in the "leader," "innovator" or "visionary" categories in every personality test she's ever taken. At Medecision Deb is the "instigator." She excels at assembling an A-team to help turn her strategic vision into reality. With relentless dedication to her team and clients, Deb brings to Medecision her success as an entrepreneurial senior executive in the healthcare technology sector, including operational and leadership experience in start-up and growth businesses in the analytics, financial and clinical sectors of healthcare IT. Deb was an early team members at Truven Healthcare (then MEDSTAT), and then became CEO of several venture-backed healthcare IT firms including SolutionPoint®, Inc., a provider of database management and decision support software products for hospitals and integrated delivery systems, GTESS Corporation, a SaaS provider of payment technology applications for healthcare payers, and RosettaMed (acquired by Kryptiq), a developer of an electronic medical record patient intake application.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Deb earned both a BA degree in Economics and an MBA from the Ross School of Business where she served as chair of the University's Women's Leadership Council for a decade and is a past member of the Alumni Board, the Corporate Advisory Board, and a member of the Ross Visiting Committee.
