MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

The WBL mission is to increase the number of women in the C-Suite and boardrooms of health care. By cultivating a membership with the criteria below, we position our organization in a place to do so.

WBL membership is designed for senior executive women working in or with the health care and life sciences industries. To nominate yourself or a peer for membership, please click here.

WBL membership is for individuals. For companies wishing to engage more fully, we encourage you to explore corporate sponsorships.

Additional considerations:

If candidates do not meet the above criteria, WBL will consider the following as part of her application:

  • Board leadership: the candidate is currently serving on a board of directors of a significantly sized company, association, or non-profit working in the health care or life sciences space.
  • Past roles: the candidate held relevant, significant, very senior roles prior to her current role.

Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis with the input of WBL’s Board and/or Membership Committee leadership.
